It's been an exciting start for the very first All Afloat project at Holyhead Sailing Club.

The students have all been keeping coaches as well as the club on their toes while they start on their pathway to becoming fellow pirates. The support and funding given by the All Afloat charity and Horizon Power, to get the local youngsters on the water (as well as in it) is being gratefully returned by laughter, enjoyment and an ocean of enthusiasm.
As the project is growing on a weekly basis and as the students continue to make their presence known at Holyhead Sailing Club, their motivation and eagerness to learn gets clearer and more obvious as the weeks go on. The efforts presented by the Holyhead Sailing Club comittee and members to ensure the young people's enjoyment is clear and is highly appreciated by the all the participants.
The project,  which aims to teach respect, responsibility and water confidence, is run on Wednesday evenings, starting at 17:30 (5:30pm) with the aim of being off the water at 20:00 (8:00pm) and is like a hurricane of young people who are very eager to join in a sport which we has given so many of us so much.
